Glenfiddich steals the show at Whisky Live, Glasgow.

We brought our Distillery workers to the Whisky Live exhibition in Glasgow, who wowed the crowd with demonstrations of their craft.

Our Coppersmith, Dennis McBain was put to work on his bench, highlighting the finer aspects of maintaining our unusually small copper stills, whilst a handful of our Coopers went to work dismantling casks, before expertly putting them back together again.

Our Cooper, Ian McDonald demonstrated his skills to the audience.

Glenfiddich is still married in 2,000-litre oak Marrying Tuns. At Whisky Live, our Coopers entranced the audience by repairing one of the Tuns.

Our Head Warehouseman was also on hand to answer questions from the public about the long maturation process for the world’s favourite single malt Scotch whisky.

As part of the display, a model distillery, complete with floor maltings, barley at various stages of growth and a small working kiln enabled the public to see the whole production process at once.

Visitors to Whisky Live are, of course, most interested in sampling the delights of the exhibiting distilleries and the throng of people at our Glenfiddich sampling bar was evidence that we had some cracking drams on offer!

Visitors flocked to our busy stand to sample the delights of Glenfiddich for themselves!
