The ‘Fiddich Fellowship

By Ludo

If you enjoy reading our blog, then you’ll surely want to visit a new website called ‘The ‘Fiddich Fellowship’. The site was set up by our U.S. ambassadors and consists of various sections dedicated to the history and production of our whisky. It also includes a quiz which, if passed, opens the door to the apprentice level of the ‘Fiddich Fellowship. I took the test last night and I am indeed relieved to say that I did pass, phew!
Visitors may only join the fellowship if they live in the U.S., but anybody may view the entire content and, of course, take the test at the end.
Let me know how you got on!

Best regards,

Ludo

Sorry for the delay providing an update, I did indeed receive my certificate with follow up emails from two members of staff here in the US.

A teething problem which seems to have been ironed out.

    Slainte!

I feel as if I accomplished something very special today. Thank you. (And I learned a thing or two in the process!)

    Kevin,
I have left your message on the blog as I want to know if we are experiencing any other issues with the concept.
It is a great idea but it has also been very successful and I guess a few of you have slipped thru the net and are disappointed, if so I want to know.
I will be in New York first week in April at Grand Central Terminal. Chicago on the 13th for Whiskyfest and the next day in SF at the World of Whiskies.
Should any of you be having issues with the Fiddich Fellowship please let me know, we want to make this work.
    All the best
    Ian

Well it seemed like a good idea. Almost a month later and no certificate and no replies to emails. It’s not exactly an impressive way of building brand loyalty is it?

    Hi Ludo

The test is very easy!!! I passed first time. I must say i did enjoy the course before the test.I don’t know if i’m going to receive a certificate because i don’t know anybody in the US. It will be nice to get one…
I did say there Johannesburg South Africa, lets see what is going to happen. Cheers!

Modesty forbids me to reveal my score, suffice it to say I’ll be checking the post!

I’m rather excited to see this development. Makers Mark have a very successful program for their “Ambassadors” that features a regular newsletter, social events, trinkets and so forth. Well a chap needs something to use in mixed drinks :-)
